Race Day | June 3, 2017
Asheville is truly an American treasure and a running destination with great shopping and world-class dining. Runners and walkers will want to sample the many unique breweries, bars and clubs that the city has to offer! Asheville is one of America's most picturesque cities with beautiful homes, mountains and attractions bordering the Blue Ridge Parkway!
The fourth annual Asheville Half Marathon and 10k begins and ends in Pack Square. Starting with the half marathon at 7AM, participants race through the streets of Asheville and along the French Broad River [back to the start] for free refreshments and an awesome finish festival complete with Finisher Medals!
Participants love the challenge of racing through the hills of Asheville in June, one of the best times to visit with great weather, amazing views and beautiful Spring colors filling the city.
If you're a runner, this is the one to run!
The goal is to promote health, fitness and a healthy lifestyle in Asheville. The Asheville Half Marathon serves as a model in the community and offers a world-class competition in Western North Carolina.
